Boeing just signed a Contract with SES and Tessera systems for World wide deployment of this. Apparently they REAALY like it.

1:05 quickly and easily put in? Look at the crew numbers and heavy machinery required to install. This is not your back yard energy project. Where’s the _personal_ version of this tech?

$1.2 trillion (plus the lesser costs of electrical storage and lines) is still less that all that government bail out money printed up in just one year!

I’ve been keep’n tabs on this company for years now, thought it was just a bunch of hot air after a few years of waiting…
At $3 a watt, seems better than other solar, but still expensive… However, these ARE THE BEST! If any enviro is against this (why would they be?), then they need to go choke themselves `~’ GO SES! Now, all we need is the energy storage, then 16,000,000 over some 4,000 sq mi would power twice USA electrical. AND THAT’S 4 X TO MAKE UP FOR THE 25% CAPACITY FACTOR!

This is wonderful news. Have been watching this company for a while, but their web site is less than useful. Was afraid they were out of business. Good on them and hope they make a ton of cash.

Last time I checked you can post whatever comment you feel like posting. Opions still count in this country, and I have the “Opinion” that it’s the most interesting technology out there BECAUSE ITS NEVER BEEN DONE BEFORE. Boeing couldn’t do it, nor could anyone else. Please keep your negative comments to yourself, no one wants to hear them.
