Goethermal Energy With Solar Energy, Tomorrows Renewable Energy Solution Here Today

Posted by admin on Aug 31, 2011

www.MyGreenEnergyROI.com The One stop Renewable Energy Shop

Geothermal energy is often the “forgotten renewable energy.” While some parts of the world and regions are able to access large-scale geothermal power production, the use of distributed geothermal energy to regulate temperatures and limit the costs of heating and air-conditioning use could promote huge efficiencies in geothermal energy use across the entire US. Add to that a touch of Solar energy and what you have is a highly efficient green energy home with absolutely NO green-house gases. Solar energy and geothermal power are both renewable energy sources to be immdeiately tapped

Investors and players in the renewable energy business often focus on the flashiest technologies, ranging from highly visible solar and wind in the generation sector to next-generation smart meters monitoring usage on the customer level.

But not many realize if you combine the under dog Geothermal energy with Flashy Solar energy you get the ultimate cost effective solution with costs for the geothermal power and solar energy being about 35% lees than using just solar!

The name of the game is build houses facing solar south for solar energy and install geothermal energy from the get-go and you instantly have a net-zero energy home.

All renewable, all free once the initial investment is paid and will produce for 50 plus years

Transition to Solar Energy and Finding Durable Prosperity – Part 4 of 4

Posted by admin on Aug 31, 2011

Jonathan Cole – http://www.lightontheearth.org

Jonathan Cole’s mission and passion is the transition to solar energy (in all its forms). He’s been researching, developing and using solar energy for his household needs for 28 years and now has made it his mission to provide the knowledge about how to utilize solar energy in an affordable, durable, low maintenance and user-friendly way.

With hot water costing around 30% of NZ’s household electricity costs, we note that Germany, the leader in solar technology and use, is closer to the North pole than NZ is to the South pole, so why are New Zealanders not using this long lasting technology?

By deploying this technology throughout NZ, this would give us breathing space from the need to dam rivers and scramble to find more ways to produce electricity.

Also, how do we mobilise the community to clean up rivers, recycle and reduce consumer products, by making them last longer. Houses built in Europe can be hundreds of years old, but be refurbished to be modern inside.

Why build temporary houses and apartments and waste valuable resources when we can build more durable structures? What incentives do we need to realise that we as a humanity have huge ecological challenges to surmount if we are to leave a healthy planet for our children?

Also, finding Durable Prosperity and actualising it.

And what is an Eco-Industrial revolution?

Can we be Socially Responsible?

http://www.coolflatroof.com/solar-power-guide.php – Learn how to design and install solar PV panel on residential and commercial buildings.

Roof – integrated Solar Flat Roof from IB Roofs

Building-integrated solar flat roofs are cool, green and have the lowest cost/watt to install, and virtually no maintenance cost. IB makes Lifetime residential flat roofing and now they together with Uni-solar have the only real BI-PV solar flat roof system for your home or business.
Find out more at http://www.CoolFlatRoof.com

Benefits of thin-film solar and Roof integrated IB Solar-Wise PV systems include better than average light capture in cloudy conditions, minimum roof penetrations, no shading from adjacent panels, and combined 30% federal tax credit for both the Solar and the roofing system. Your roof integrated solar array will be the most cost effective installation for any flat roof.

Solar Roofing Prices:

1) these and similar solar panels (such as UniSolar thin film solar panels) are installed over a PVC flat roof – use our roofing calculator ( http://www.coolflatroof.com/roofing-calculator.php ) to estimate the cost to install a new PVC flat roofing system, as well as roofing cost for other flat roof materials.

2) Solar Prices – the cost of your solar system will be very different depending on who you work with – in general, you should look @ about $7.50 per Watt, for a solar system of at least 3 KW size – use this solar calculator ( http://www.solar-calculator.org/ ) to estimate your solar system prices, as well as monthly payment if you finance your solar system – eg, get a home equity loan or a small mortgage.
